Handover checklist
Protect your investment before you accept your unit from the developer.
Checklist items
- 1.Check wall and floor levels with a laser or spirit level.
- 2.Run water in every bathroom and kitchen point; check drainage slope and leaks.
- 3.Test every socket and switch; confirm separate circuits for AC and kitchen.
- 4.Inspect windows and doors for alignment, gaps and smooth opening.
- 5.Look for cracks, dampness or salt marks on walls and ceilings.
- 6.Confirm the unit area and layout match the contract drawings.
- 7.Request the as-built drawings for plumbing and electrical routes.
- 8.Photograph every defect and get it written in the handover report.
